This was really well thought out, now if only I could remember clearly all the facts when I am in the moment.🤣🤣 Truthfully so, it is the work of the Holy Spirit like you stated. I know I don't need to have all the answers, and I think that is what makes our faith come across more authentic.
Oh wow Justin! You certainly had my brain going back and forth with this one, but I loved it and very much appreciated it!
You're right, as Christians, we do often take on the burden of defending our faith (which we should do) by default, even if we're not the ones who initiated the argument. But I love the breakdown here and the "Bailey and Motte" diagram and explanation, which I had never heard of before.
Thanks Meagan. I know its a bit of a weird subject, and I sat on this one for a while, as it’s not really popular to talk about. The topic also generates a bit of intellectual constipation and debate.
But I see so many Christians struggle when talking to atheists who engage in perpetual skepticism. It’s helpful to recognize what’s happening.

Thank you! And, I hear you on that. I am not naturally gifted at speaking on the fly either, which I why I choose write 😂.
I did want to say that the “Motte and Bailey” analogy was top tier. Great article and I think I got more out of the second read!
Joseph I really appreciate you saying this. I felt like this wasn’t resonating like I thought it would. Made my day brother!

Yes, and I can admit that I am one of those Christians; however, you just gave me a framework for not being so afraid anymore when approached.
I love that you shared that with me thank you so much!!!
